Philip Parente has been engaged in the visual arts since an early age. He studied painting and art history at Fordham University in New York and Temple University in Rome, graduating from Fordham with honors in 2003. In 2007, Philip began to explore the medium of photography, taking classes at the School of Visual Arts and the International Center for Photography. Philip has been working on a long term project, Emma, since 2010. The photographs are being made with a large format camera and Kodak film.
